Hi we have just drained our van down it has a water filter housing outside with a blue ring thing around it .We cannot seem to unscrew it It wasn't overtightened but seems to have gone tight My husband has tried do have I Has anyone got any advice for us please
It may well be limescale that is causing the filter fitting to be tight. Is it possible to dab some ordinary vinegar around the thread area? Hopefully it will soak in and disolve it without doing any damage.
