Anyone know which model and year this Lunar Lexon is please?

Searched autotrader and ebay and done a google search with and without images but struggling to find the actual model/year and dimensions/weights for this caravan.

Thanks.

2014-2016 ish
It's not the 540, it has two windows on the offside.

Had a quick look on caravan finder by layout, I'd say it's a weird one, looks like toilet is midships and a bedroom at back going by the lack of windows? (Normally get one window at the back at least)
Hazard a guess at 2014 by the distinct lack of decals, seen a 2014 for sale that looks similar on the outside.

Yes the 560 seems to match but they all seem to have decals, some years also seem to have windows on the offside but that is the closest model match.

The 2014 560 on Caravan Finder also has decals. Was there a year or years where they had no decals?

Thanks.

The Cris number should give you the year and possibly the model code, I can't remember what Lunar used to create the Cris number.

I'd say it's post 2013 as the front gas locker door matches the facelift of that year and following years.

The minimalist decals is pretty unusual, they are not totally absent, there appears to be the model number on the top rear sides. I think 2014 seemed to have a few models with minimal decals, but you have to consider they are only stickers, they do fade and get damaged so can be removed and not replaced!

No Cris, this caravan was what the previous owner of my car owned. Just trying to find the weights etc.

Below the front/side windows appears to be a model name or number. Not seen a Lexon with that style.

Car is a late 2017 so the caravan pre-dates that.   I spotted other older 560's but the front handles were lower and not up near the windows.

So it's looking like 2013-2017 and the 560 rear bedroom/side toilet appears to match the lack of side windows on the offside and small kitchen window on the nearside.

Thanks.

If you are looking to see what your car can tow, far better to research the car! People tow things they shouldn't!

In a general sense, Lunar were well regarded for producing large very well appointed vans that were light compared to the competition (I've got one, because it was a lot of van for the lightish MPTLM that just scraped in under my cars towing limit!).

Just curious on what weight they used to tow with it. I know the cars max tow is 2000kg with an unladen kerbweight of a bit over 1700kg.

Looks like the Lexon 560 is around 85% of the cars unladen weight. Which is good to know they were not towing 2000kg which it's plated for.

Usually my caravans were closer to 70% of the cars unladen kerbweight, my last caravan was the Avondale Grampian towed with a Mondeo Estate around 72%. I gave that away on here during the big CV19. They seemed to like it when viewing it. Used my sisters Sprite which was even lighter but we didn't like the layout with the side bathroom.

We will be looking for something with a rear bathroom soon.

Thanks for the help.

The clue to the caravan's age is in the CRIS number that should be etched into all of the windows, as well as on the identification plate (usually on the outside of the caravan, near the bottom of the door). See this link for advice on how to decipher it.

https://granthamcaravans.co.uk/what-year-is-my-caravan/

It looks very similar to our 2014 Lunar Cosmos, so I'd guess at 2014 give or take a year.

The identification plate should also show the caravan weight.

The OP doesn't own or have access to the van according to a previous post, so CRIS/VIN details not available to them.

They were trying to identify it to get a clue as to its MPTLM with relation to the car they now own that formally towed this van.
