Hi There.

i have asked nearly 6 Axle companies if they can assist me with a replacement Axle for my Foldy Caravan, i have taken the measurements with a tape measure and i do not feel confident in ordering an axle with my measurements, please could someone assist me with the dimensions of my Old Girls Bones so i can restore her to her former glory.

I do not want a braked axle, i just want an axle with Bearings but as i said i am nervous to send me measurements without Clarification they are correct and i have yet to find axle dimensions for my old girl 'Stacy'

You might get some help from here.   They refurb axles and seem to have a good reputation amongst Bailey caravan owners. Based in Scotland.

An Update.

Nobody wants to offer me a new axle, in trying to get the cone out for the bearing, in my caveman fashion, i used a copper hammer and a heat gun, this obviously weakened the drum and a piece broke of (that piece is in file 13) Fraser Brown has asked for photos of the drum which i have sent through and he said he may be able to weld and repair the drum. i will probably send him both so he can check i never damaged the other drum (oggabooga)

http://www.fraserbrowneng.co.uk/index.php he said he would do Cast Iron welding and it doesnt matter about the piece missing he said he could make a plan, but lets see what comes to fruition.

We Live and Learn. i forget this trailer is a few years older than me.
