We had the unfortunate happening of mice chewing up one of our NR porch awning curtains, I contacted NR Awnings by e-mail and gave them the necessary info. and they replied straight away. I scanned a portion of one of the remaining curtains so that they could see the pattern as it was 3 years old. I had another instant reply telling me that they had found one for me and they were posting it to me that day "FREE OF CHARGE" and it arrived the next morning. The normal price was £7.35. Thank you very much Paul Gibbons.
Have to say, it is one company I have only ever heard good reports about, next year we hope to get a new awning off them, strictly because of the glowing reports here on both the product and the customer service, well done NR Awnings...

I have a new Pullman awning from NR and this weekend the wife and I erected it in 20 minutes and for the first time we fitted the tall annex onto it , I must say we had loads of room and the quality is excellent.
when you get the awning Wendy you will be very impressed with it .
The original post does not surprise me in the least, received similat service from them myself. Had several NR awning over the past 20 years, only been changed because of larger van.
I contacted them asking for an annexe for my N R capricorn 1996 awning ,but was told they do not stock an annexe for an awning that is that old, I dont think that 9 years is that old does any body on here have one
Well I must be one of the chosen few who have a negative about them, first ever purchase damaged poles (not down to me but apparently where they`ve been banded onto the pallett, which was what they told me) . So that meant YET another day off work to take the awning back. Never again (but its nice to hear so many stories how people are satisfied with their purchases, I must have been a one off?)
I am sorry teash, but damage does happen in transit from any company and they put it right for you. Its not their fault you had to take a day off work couldn't you post it I am sure they would have refunded your postage!
We ordered a porch awning from them it arrived the next day was superb quality and we have used it alot.
Despite having suggested to Hippy Chick that she uses Tent Valeting Serbvices for a job on her awning we took our NR to the factory in Todmorden last week as it had two small tears - Todmorden is closer for us than Farnworth, even tho I work in Bolton.
Superb job!
Not only did they repair, with matching patches, the two tears, near to brass grommet holes, they replaced the grommets and patched and regrommetted the other corner, so it all matches.
And all for £30!
And they're lovely people to talk to as well.
