After having our caravan stolen in May 2005

We have been looking for better security devices to stop the B**** getting this one, Also our insurer would not let us bring it back and put it on the drive until we had two security poles fitted.

We found an advert in the back of the caravan club mag for a new company called

Tigh-on ltd  selling a hublock that will withstand oxy-acetylene

we contacted our insurer, showed them the dvd and information that Mr johnson from Tight-on sent us and after a few meeting at there end were happy for us to use the hub lock instead of the posts

Ordered our last week and it arrived the next day.

So will be bringing our caravan back from storage very soon..

Has anyone else got one of these and are as happy as us???

Or if you would like there contact details just let me know??

I think anything to stop/slow the B***** down is a good thing.

Hi  coljac

Good questions all one's i should of answer in my first post but as you can see i am new to this forum

there price between £145-180

Sold secure Gold cert

The hub lock replaces your wheel (takes about 10 minutes )Jack required

It's machined fromsolid steel and bolted to the wheel hub

On the dvd they try to remove it with oxy-acetlene It took an good 15 minutes and didn't manage to remove the whole thing as it melts/welds on to the hock and brake drum.

So if they did try to remove it you would have a damaged hub (that can be replaced)

But the effect is they can not take the caravan away on one wheel!!!

You can get the dvd and booklet on this item  by ringing  01924 264600

Thanks  i have been made to feel very welcome by every caravaner/camper we meet

There is a fantastic campsite not 45 minutes from sandbach, called Manor Wood country caravan park in Coddington, Tattenhall

been open less than a year and very clean shoer blocks

has outdoor swimming pool (summer only), Tennis courts, Fishing lake and a bridal way just outside the gate

Within walking distance of great pub (bit scary a night down the lane)

Great for a short weekend
