Where do us owners of teardrops fit in?
Are we classed as caravan owners or something else?

Hello Nige & Mon - welcome to UKCS.
Why not put a piccie of your Diddyvan on your gallery so we can all have a look?
I'd say you're definitely caravanners, buit you can post on any of the forums.

Caravan of course. Even if it is a 'Benjamin', it still is.
It's got a bed and a hard top, all on wheels, so..
Just a bit easier to handle than the big ones.
You certainly won't need a mover.
I see you got 2 postings, but joined already in 2004: come on, show Benjamin en get posting. 'Little ones'have their voice to show they are there..------------- WL

It's a caravan - a small one, but a caravan.
I have seen teardrops in the States a lot bigger than my 340 Echo.
------------- best cheers

Thanks for the welcome.
We've been using the site for ages now, mostly to read reviews of campsites, but i'm sure we'll be posting on the forums more in future.

I've been wondering the same thing - it doesn't seem fair to charge 'caravan' rates on boats & campsites when they're so tiny, but we do sleep and eat from them the same as caravaners.
I'd class it as a caravan and campagn for more sites/boats/trains to measure space taken up and not wether it has wheels & a roof - have you seen the size of some of those tents on sites, compared to my t at b even with awning it's huge!
