Hi Folks,

As a few of you are already aware, I have been contemplated selling the mrs pride and joy Lunar 2 berth for a caravan almost 15 years it's senior   - The mrs is still not overjoyed with the situation to say the least and cannot see the potential in the bigger 4 berth Abbey that i can see, so to make my life a lot easier, is there anyone who can give positive information or experiences with the older vans that may sway her feelings in favour of the Abbey? - Not even the promise of a new saucepan set once we sell her beloved Lunar is having any effect, so i am relying on you guys to convince her!

There are some photo's of both caravans on my profile homepage or click on the link below if it's easier for you.

All the best,

Grub.

We have a lunar 2 birth brought last year inbetween this and our first 2 birth caravan we had a pearl 4 birth i loved it cus theres only 2 of us and we had alot more space. We used to leave one bed made and use the other table & seating ....The only thing was where in a 2 birth caravan you sleep the length of it in a 4 birth you sleep the width & my other half being 6"4 was very uncomfy Hence why we went back to a 2 birth.....But for us shorter poeple i agree yourll have alot more space

My lunar has got all we need but what i meant was being the same size has the old 2 birth it dosent feel has big inside ...i think this is because the lunar has a slopping front and the old one did not ...The lunar is a nwer van to us but is still a 1992 model....I dont have a shower or hot water...It seems a good solid van though
