We are just at that point were are feel that we need to convert from tents to caravans. I have two questions.

1. We have been looking around and really like the Bailey Discovery 100. Any comments/feedback regarding this caravan would be great.

2. I would need a storage site to store the caravan. Any tips that I should look out for regarding storage would also be great. (I would be looking for something in the Bournemouth area.)

Thanks Andrew

Hi Andrew

We picked up our new Discovery 100 last weekend and are really pleased. We started with a tent then went onto a Pennine Folding Camper and now onto the Discovery. We choose it because of the low tow weight as we didn't want to change our car. We are a family of four with 2 kids aged 6 & 9 we found that there was adequate space for us all. We spent last saturday night in it at a site in Banbury for the first time and we were very warm and comfortable. If I had one grumble it would be that there is no where to store the table and we prefer it out of the way when not in use however we are off to the show at the NEC next Saturday in search of a porch awning which is where the table will no doubt live.

Can't help with storage I'm afraid as we have room on our drive for our van so are lucky.

Happy caravan shopping hope you get what you want.

Thanks for the feedback Kaz. We are a family of just 3, so the 100 should be just fine. I have read that there are many who have a grumble with the table but as you say, we will just use it in the awning. My biggest issue now is storage, as we don't have any off road parking for the van....

We have recently collected our new Bailey Ranger 500/5, we live in Torquay but have had to store it on a site in Wellington (approx 80 mile round trip).  Having said that it is a CASSOA gold award site through the Caravan Club, run very efficiently and very secure.  Cost is approximately £400 per year, I know this is quite expensive but we like you have no where to store it at home.
