I went to have a look at the caravan today while it is in storage, while i was there i thought i would hook my new car up and check all the lights on van and car were in working order. The lights on the outside of the van worked so i thought i would check over the lights in the caravan using the zig board switched to 12v touring, i was expecting the odd bulb gone but i could not get any lights to work. I have tried to remove the fuses on the zig board to check if they had blown but i cannot remove any of them. The top fuse is locked tight as is the bottom and the middle fuse is just spinning. Have any of the old timers got any adivce as i am new to the caravan game and am a bit lost with the zig board. If it helps the water pump was working and the van is a 1986 Abbey gt415.

Hi Kemik , try the lights again , and try ( 1 ) without the engine running , and ( 2 ) with the 12S socket unplugged .
Depending on how your car is wired it's possible the internal lights won't work if the car engine is running and the 12S socket is plugged in , as the power is ment to be sent to the fridge .

You may have to push them down before trying to turn them , like a house hold light bulb fitting . For the one that's spinning you'll probably need to have the panel off to sort it . Sorry can't be much more help .
