I went to the GMEX show with my list of caravans to look at.  Spent all day, narrowing down my choice to three.  At 5 minutes to 5pm on the last day I happened to go back on onto of the stands, for a last look.  One hour later as the show was being dismantled around me, I signed on the dotted line!

I pick up my Coachman VIP on Saturday.  It is the show caravan that was at the NEC earlier this month. Hope you all wiped your feet!

I think I have got a good show deal plus extras at a discounted price for a demo, but I am still in shock about having ordered it.  I fully intended to buy a 2 or 3 year old van in July.  Still I am so excited about Saturday.  I have never had a 'new anything' like this before and am looking forward to joining the ranks of caravan owner.

Many thanks for all the replies. From what you are syaing it appears you can get a good deal but as with all things, it pays to prepare in advance.

I will defnintely look forward to the October show when, hopefully we will buy our first caravan.
