Hello,
we have just bought our first caravan pick up in 2 weeks. Having never been caravanning before I wuld like your top tips and also if one has one a list of yur most essential items. We are a family of 3 including toddler and plan on taking our 2 dogs eventually so any top tips or essential must haves would be appreciated.
Many Thanks

Hi Fizzle, 1st thing you need is a sense of humour essential for when things go wrong.

If taking the dogs then I recommend a corkscrew and tie out lead to tether them on site. We have their own spare bowls, leads and beds permanently in the caravan so we don't forget them. Also a small supply of dog food on board to keep them going till I find a shop. A small torch for dog walking at night and a supply of poo bags (we use nappy sacks).
Humans can always make do/go without if we forget anything, but the dogs can't.

If you can't see the light at the end of the tunnel, just keep going till you go round the bend.
