If I keep repeating these words to my self things will be alright.......

Promised the wife (o'dear) that we would have a porch awning for our first weekend away at Spring Lee caravan park, Maryport in 3 weeks (no thats 2 weeks) time. Problem is that I have searched around the Tinternet and not able to find an awning to fit our ABI Rallyman.

The hight from ground to railing above the door is 216cm (is this the best place to judge the hight??) If know of the ideal place to buy a porch awning to fit our caravan could you let me know.

You can post on here or send me an email

Cheers..........

Since you're based in the North East - I would bet that Barrons would be able to tell you how high the caravan is.  I suspect they're  pretty standard - 2.65m with aerial - therefore about 2.5 without.  Barrons also have porch awnings but there will be other caravan suppliers near you who've taken in Porch awnings and are prepared to sell them on at a reduced cost.

The lightweight ones all seem to be designed to fit caravans with a height to awning rail of 230 - 235 cms.

If you can't see the light at the end of the tunnel, just keep going till you go round the bend.

That is the problem we are having, finding a porch awning the right hight. We are quite happy paying a bit more as we intened to keep our pressent caravan for a few years.

Checked up on the NR porch awnings and they seem to come in three sizes only. If yours is the 7' size then get in touch.
