Hi all

This is my first post since joining, I have used the site before and found a great deal of usefull information to solve problems in the past. Thanks.

Does anyone know where I am likely to find the chassis number on a 1990 Swift Alouette. I can't find a plate by the door & i have been told it will be on the Chassis possibly by the hand brake but I have been able to find it. Does anyone have any clues?

Excellent site keep up the good work.

Steve

my book says swift alouette 1992/length = 16' 2in / width = 7ft / unladen weight = 16.7cwt / max gross = 22.5 cwt / maker in business = yes / contact swift group on tel.01482 847332 / how to identify model year = first two digits on the drawbar give the model year / .so looks like the chassis number should be on the drawbar.hope this helps.[:o)]

Hi

Thanks for the help, managed to find chassis build info but not the number, I was trading the van in and the dealer said they would find it. He couldnt find it either. But it went today so problem solved.

Thanks again for the help

Steve
