we wondered this as well, I was also told awning through rail first, we shall be putting ours up for the first time on Tuesday, found out today its a dorema so OH has printed the instructions off the site. We got the poles out yesterday and tried to suss what went where, we think we've got a rough idea, just hope nobody will have a good laugh on our behalf lol. lay out the poles in the respective location on the ground then put awning in the rail then its a matter of putting it all together then after all fixed up go and visit marriage councillor lol------------- geoff & annb,--

And a tip I saw on this site to secure the light ropes to the awning is to get some of those shower rings to attach to the poles.------------- dawn

Canvas first then centre poles as it will stand on it's own. You then have spare hands to put up all the other poles. Easy!
