Hi,

Is anyone with CaravanWise insurance :- https://www.caravanwise.co.uk/secure/touringcaravanqu.cgi

I am 33 and cannot get insurance with them as they only do it for over 34's but just did a quote for father -in-law and it was alot cheaper than caravan club.

Are they any good?

 This is my second year with Caravan Wise. The premium went down by £50 this year, I didnt make a claim though. Not too sure what they would be like if I had to make a claim. They worked out £30 cheaper than the Caravan Club quote.

It worked for me, but I am like suzy with twin axle, I will however ring them when I am due for renewal and these recommendations, cheers

I've been with them for sometime and have no complaints. They are always less expensive than anyone else and they're not so dogmatic over sucurity measures or whether or not your 'van is stored on a CaSSOA site.

I'm going to be shopping around this year like I do every year but I anticipate that I shall not be changing.

Never had to make a claim touch wood, so don't know the reverse side of the coin.

Vic has hit the nail on the head, you never know how good an insurance company are until you have to claim, a bit like breakdown cover really!

We have been with them for about 3 years. Last year paid £120, this year it was £100. Have had no problems and renewing is easy. Haven't ever claimed , however!!!

I had no problem as I have a single axle but my brother, who has a twin axle, was asked to ring them. That is the same with most insurers I found. They came out fairly average in the Practical Caravan survey for caravan insurers, but NFU, who I always thought must be good as so many people go to them, came out quite badly.
