Does anyone know as caravan club is closed today if Mayday Recovery allows you to pay monthly. Website seems to only pay by credit card, just wondered if anyone pays via direct debit monthly.
Although Mayday is a Caravan Club service I have only ever paid money to Green Flag (perhaps the club takes the initial payment?) and I don't think what you are asking is on offer. The Caravan Club let you pay the caravan insureance monthly.
10 years on (from when this thread was started) and nothing has changed during that time allowing CC members to pay by direct debit for Green Flag 'Mayday' breakdown cover. The fee is £101 but must be paid in full with no option of paying by monthly installments. I find this strange as the majority of insurance companies offer this service to it's customers.
When I was a member of the C&CC, RAC 'Arrival' breakdown cover it could be paid monthly by direct debit so I would have thought that Green Flag would have at least been in competition with the opposition in order to generate more business.
Green Flag offers direct debit for standard car cover but not for their 'Mayday' cover unfortunately.
