We have a 2005 elldis firestorm 475 purchased brand new last october,just got back from our third trip,as we cleaned our a caravan we found a crack all round the plug hole in the toilet,shower area ,i am going to phone barrons in the morning,should the repair be done under the warranty,and how quick should i expect them to do it,its a real pain as we want to be away on our next trip in a couple of weeks.
i had the same problem/after reporting/showing to barrons[delivery bad]i got a household sink waste which is larger and covered crack then had it repaired under warranty when they got spare in[they had to change complete sink,cupboard, the lot]eldiss can be a pain in the a--- with delivery.
Seems to be a common problem and should be done under warranty, obviously not well enough supported under the shower tray, they just don't build them like they used to!
Hi all we had the same problem on our vanity sink the dealer ordered one but as it was going to take approx 6 -8 weeks i sealed it up with silicon it worked a treat when i replaced it about 3/4 months later the waste fell through where i sat one of those air fresheners/damp collecters that are always for sale in caravan shops. it appeared that when the thing overflowed a chemical reaction acured and melted the basin so beware!!!!!
