Hi can anybody out there help! we have recently purchased our first caravan, Sprit Muskateer, and we are having problems with the water inlet connection, we seem to be missing a cover and therefore the water has got in to the connection and the pins do not fit in properly when you plug in the water pump, is there anybody out there that can advise us of how to over come this problem? any help much appreiciated thanks
Hi , Welcome to UKCS , is the water inlet socket on the caravan a round type ? if it is you can buy a service kit for it , the kit contains replacement pins and a replacement cover , it's made by Whale and as far as i can remember it costs about £6 , you should be able to pick one up in most caravan shops .
yes it is round, we didnt realise you could still get round connections, most caravan suppliers that we have contacted only supply the new square shape fittings,
