Could these be the evidence of previous damp meter probes. Say 1mm in diameter and in pairs about 15 mm apart?

just a thought

Hi Will, if the panel is aluminum the problem could be Osmosis-----caused by steel touching Ali.------OMF

I would repair the pin holes by covering over them with a thick covering of white caravan tube mastic on the inside and wiping off any excess on the out side . If they were behind wooden spars or polystyrene then the same applys , coat the area and then replace either the wood or polystrene .

Hi, sounds like corrosion of the aluminium if this is the case and you have removed the inner panels the easiest and cheapest way is to glassfibre the inside of the panel to make it water tight. The proper way would be to replace the outer panel but cost and obtaining a new panel normally counts this out.
