I'm selling it and an ebay buyer has just asked the weight of it. We don't have any of the original literature as it's an '88 and I think we're the third owners.
Any idea anyone?
Ta,

I think we would need more information - such as manufacturer and model or any ID on the chassis or A frame.

Hi Kate,
As Fogey says, there should be a small metal plate either underneath on the caravan chassis, on the A-Frame near to the front locker area, or sometimes actually on the caravan itself usually around the bottom of the door area, it will tell you on that plate the weight of the caravan.
All the best.

Thanks for helping. The only plate I can find is above the door and it has the ref number <<edited out by me>> on it. I've looked underneath and can only find that ref number again.
The caravan is an avondale custom perle argos 1988
Huge thanks,
Kate

Thanks i've emailed the seller.... as it's uninsured now I really don't fancy taking it out - sods law & all that!
Hope the seller comes up trumps, if not then hey ho, i've lost a buyer. I'd rather lose a buyer though than bullsh*t one & have it come back and bit my ample bottom!

The weight of an avondale custom perle argos 1988 is 646kg unladen.
I got this information from avondale themselves who were very helpful and am just adding it on here incase anyone searches for the same info in the future.
Thanks for your help guys!

Hi Kate,
I realise that this is probably too late to help, but your van should be 666kg MIRO and 900kg MTPLM. They're light vans! If only there were more on the market like that.
