Hi Guys,

Been left a caravan by my late father, few probs with it, damp etc however getting through all that thanks to advice picked up on here. It is a sprite musketeer, no idea how old but it has glorious brown front and back panels and looks dated but I love it. I was wondering if it was possible to fit a permanet toilet in the little washroom, and how much this might cost (would fit it myself with a little help). Don't fancy a portable one, purely for the look.

Any help would be great.

Thanks

Leon

We used to have an Esprit Flair which was based on the Sprite Musketeer and still made by Sprite, (the clue's in the name....move the E to the front and .....), and we once cosidered having a cassette loo put in but as the quote we had at the time was £300 we thought better of it and continued to use our very efficient Thetford Porta Potti 165. Still good too now, although we're only hanging on to it now until hubby gets round to re-doing the bathroom coz it'll be handy as a temporary loo as we don't have another loo indoors!

However....that said, I'm sure you could fit one yourself which would save l-o-a-d-s-a money and if you hang on a bit...somebody by the name of either Wizard or Michael should be along with the help you need!

Hope you enjoy your Sprite, we truly loved our old girl until she went to that great pitch in the sky and got replaced with our Elddis, (and this one has all mod cons.....which we'd happily done without for all these years).

Hi Leon , it should be possible , i looked into fitting a fixed toilet in my Sprite Musketeer , but sold it before i got round to putting one in .
Have a look at the C2 toilet on this webpage , it has the dimentions you need to check before buying Click_here , if you check ebay the toilets do come up for sale now and then , have a look Here .

Hi Norrisr9 , to make links shorter ( ie change the text ) what you do is , paste the link into the post ( as you have done above ) , then highlight the link ( by holding down the left mouse button and then dragging the mouse over the text until it's all highlighted ) now type the text you want . If you need a space between words press ( hold down ) the "shift " key and then the minus key .
