Went to Waren in Northumberland on Saturday for the night... set up just in time for the kids to watch the beginning of the first England match...

Not mad on football myself so I pottered about getting lunch ready, fetching the water etc... there were lots of 'vans but only a handful of people as you might expect. Place looked deserted. Expected tumbleweed to come rolling across like in a western...

Different story after 90 minutes though...

The field in the middle of all the 'vans was instantly full of young David Beckhams, my two included.

And my sympathies go out to all those other parents who, like me have sore legs from all the running around!

Amazing how quickly the England team become British when the going gets tough!

At least no matter what happens Scotland are always going to be Scotland!
