What provision is there in the alarm for it going off on site whilst unattended?
I was on one site some years ago when an alarm screamed for an hour. The site owner turned out but couldnt stop it so someone nameless opened the van up and disconnected the sounder.
All alarms should be fitted with a 20 minute cutoff and a reset that eliminates the first switch or contactor.

15 minutes now, but most auto type will reset and force omit after two or so minutes to save on power.
