Hi everyone

In one year I have had a frame tent, folding camper, and now a caravan! Can any of you tell me more about the caravan we have just bought? We dont get to use it for another 2 weeks, its still with the dealer for a service. The layout suited us, and I particularly wanted an end washroom with a seperarate shower. Any information or tips would be very much appreciated.Thanks.

Make sure they do a full damp test, and that you get the report showing the readings, and a guarantee.
Also ensure you get the handbook for the van. If there is no handbook then take along a notebook, have them show you how EVERYTHING works and take lots of notes. Pay particular attention to the operation of the fridge, water heater, space heating, electrics, and the water system.
Our van is a "cousin" , so a lot of the appliances will be similar to yours.
An up-to-date handbook is available on-line from Swift, but it does not cover the older equipment, but it may help on some things.
The end washroom is excellent.
