I have just bought this from this site a couple of hours ago.I have just realised that maybe it doesnt have one of those draught skirts that go around the bottom of the caravan. Do I have to order one seperatley as it didnt mention this, and if there is  such a thing how does it fix to the caravan, and how much roughly do they cost?

Our Compactalite didn't come with a draft skirt, we just use the one from our main awning. You can buy them from caravan accessory shops or Towsure sell them. Not sure how much they cost though.

On our caravan we have an awning strip along the bottom of the van to thread it through.

Hope this helps

Hi, no the compactalite doesn't come with an awning skirt, most caravan shops will sell the awning skirt usually by the foot and it fits along the bottom rail of your caravan.

Hi mi-mi.

Yes you will have to buy the skirt seperately.

I got some from my local caravan dealer for £2.00/metre.

It will slide through the skirt rail as usual, I the peg my 2 ends at outward angles so as to put stress on the skitr to stop it sliding. Then just attach your wheel arch ciover as usual.

If you dont have the wheel arch cover just buy an extra metre to cover it and a double sided rail a couple of quid and some double sided velcro to fasten the top to your van.

Hope this is of some help
