Hi wondering if anyone could help me please ive just brought a old 89/90 swift challenger its fine apart from stickers that run the length of the caravan down both sides the are faded and horrid , ive find impossible on the internet to find new ones these are 4 to 5 inch wide ...so my question is what gets them off ..someone told me a hair dryer etc but i dont think theres any glue left just think they are ground into the caravan...picking at them very very slowly it does budge..but at that rate ill be there till next year PLEASE HELP ANYONE KNOW OF ANY GOOD CLEANERS ...thanks sharon

I can't see any cleaners touching it to be honest.

Did you try the hairdryer method? If you're managing to pick bits off it's worth trying.

Saw a bottle labelled "Sticky Stuff Remover" (beside the paint stripper) when in Focus DIY at the weekend.

I used to work at a sign company - we used to heat old viynl (?) up with a hairdryer, pull it off then wipe something like thinners on it, though I wouldn't use thinners on the van. Contact a sign company and they may let u have some!

I have used this from Lakeland and its great.  If the stickers can be peeled off then this would tackle any sticky residue left.  (I would test a small area first)

my brother owns a car body repair shop and when ever he takes stickers of he uses petrol

Hairdryer, or betterer a hot paint gun. Just warm the sticker and peel away.

Then meths to get the glue residue off.

I have used this method on cars and caravans.

We always use a spray can of WD40.

Its always removed stickers for us from just about everything.
