Does anyone know of a storage site around Fareham/Southampton/Portsmouth that has space? Every one I have phoned is full or won't take a twin axle. Apparently three sites in the area have closed recently and space is at a premium. The van is currently stored 100 miles away!
There is a good one in waterlooville called lucky lite. Phone number is
Lucky Lite Farm Caravan Storage
Tel: 023 92596597

There is one in Chandler's Ford Southampton that takes twins, ours doesn't. I don't know the phone number or name, sorry! I do know that Viscount caravans recommend it so it might be worth contacting them.
I think that Rizzo means Castle Lane Farm in North Baddesley. It has recently been extended and there does seem to be a bit of space in the twin axle area.
Sorry looked everywhere for the number but I can't find it, but Viscount Caravans will have it.
Hi,
I know that the guy at the kennels / cattery I use has just started storing caravans. He has loads of space and because of the kennels there is always someone on site 24/7. The place is called Woodside kennels and cattery. Phone number is 01329 842402. He is situated in St Margarets Lane Titchfield (just off the hotel roundabout). Nice guy by the name of Alan (ex Navy). The only reason I don't keep mine there is because I can store it inside the naval base that I work in for a lot less than the commercial rate.
Good Luck
Mike
P.S. let him know that I recomended him please.

Many thanks Mike. I will get my daughter to phone them tomorrow. Incidentally, son-in-law is in the Navy down there and has been trying to get the van in the same p.lace as you. You probably know him Any suggestions on how to do it.
Hi,
I know that there is a shortage of space in HMS Collingwood where mine is, due to two bases merging. There may be some space on the grass. Your son-in-law needs to speak to Mick Jones in the Central Amenities Fund (CAF). There may well be a waiting list.
Good luck in finding somewhere.
Mike
Many thanks Mike. Yes he is 9th on the list at Collingwood. Bit like waiting for dead mens shoes!
Daughter going along to the place you said this morning. Many thanks for all your help. We know where it is as we often bring our van down to Occupation Lane. Coming next month for 10 days to see the kids.

I have just spoken to Allan, he said that he is looking for about £300 (worth a negotiate) He can be contacted on the number above ( he is there at the moment) or by e-mail at allan_boutcher at yahoo.com. While there is always someone on the site, they are sometimes busy walking dogs etc so don't be put off leaving an answer phone message.
