Awning is blue (teal I think is the official colour).

Has anyone bought one of the light weight awnings made from the same sort of material as the newer tents?  If so are they okay. We want an awning we can sit out in if it is warm but need shelter. On the basis we are not going to sleep in it somehow it seems a waste to spend £700 plus.  Advice please to a new caravaner.

Hi Scampi,   I have recently bought a Dorema awning - paid extra for the fibre-glass poles.  Did the Dorema man give you any reason for not buying these, apart from expense?   What did he recommend instead - steel or aluminium?

I'm now looking for a porch awning, and do not want to make same mistake twice (if there is a problem)!
