 i have had my brand new van stolen after 6 weeks a bailey 500/5 i am thinking of buying a compass rambler when ins pays out which is based on the corona has anybody any comments about the van, I seem to get a lot more value for my money.

I liked the look of the 6 berth paegent series 6 but ther are not many upgrades for the money

PS i have been offered a 2006 brand new rambler for £11500

what do all you knowledgeable caravanners think

Hi,we have a compass rambler 556, the 6 berth single axle with the fixed bunks at the back, 2005 cost £12500 and only had problems with the caravan door not shutting very well had to bang it. Has been changed and ok now,the only other thing is the cd player sounds good but can get the radio to tune. The chap who looked at it said it was the arial at the back which had come loose and fixed it, after next journey didn't work again so a assume the arial has come out again so don't bother with the radio. We are pleased with the van and have used it in the winter,good heater.The dealer included a years membership to Happe which included the first service.
