We've got our first caravan !! A Bailey Pageant Auvergne - 1998 - and it's very nice. After many years of happy camping we just wanted a bit more comfort - and a longer season - can't wait to use it !

tnx all....I'm SO excited !
Our first trip (against my wife's wishes !) will be the Xmas holidays but I'm having trouble finding somewhere that has space. Sandy Balls was my fist choice - in the new forest - but it's full. Any ideas ??
Tnx

Try Manor Farm in Charmouth or even Newlands.
Always space there. We went to Newlands for Christmas in 2003. Didnt use the heater once as it was mild. Cooked our turkey before we went down and heated in oven and microwave. Kids thought that it was the best Christmas ever.

Nice one Dave!!
That first outing is one I'm sure you'll remember!!
We've just come back from our first weekend away and had a great time!!
It's lovely to have that bit more comfort than a tent too! I know my bones felt the difference ha ha!!
Enjoy,Mark

Hi all, this is me first post.
I've had a van now for 16 years, in my first years had the gas freeze up on a new year rally, just bought a new Bailey champagne, great caravan. Adie.

well done Brasso.
I remember leaving my tent for a call of nature in gale force winds and horizontal wind, looking straight into the face of a guy in a caravan opposite me, he was sat there in a 'T' shirt he even had the nerve to raise his glass of wine as he gave me that smug look.
Now I know how he feels when I hear those winds blowing and the rain tapping on the roof.
Hope you enjoy your touring
