Hello, and many congratulations, I know how excited you must be.  We're having a new Bailey Ranger 460/4, should be delivered from Bailey just before Christmas but Harringtons are closed.  I've pushed and pestered and tried to manipulate the situation, even at the NEC show when I was given a lovely free chopping board from the MD of Bailey (!!!), we didn't hesitate in asking at least three times "Any Chance Of Getting Our New Caravan In Time For Christmas???".  It fell on deaf ears, but after just one more pushy e-mail to Harringtons we got a phone call that night, it should be delivered prior to Christmas - good - we want to get away for a few nights inbetween Christmas and New Year, doesn't matter that it's cold, we've got blown air heating!!!  Yipeee!!

Anyway, enough of boring you all, but after three and a half years with our sixteen year old Elddis (bless her!!!) who is now living happily just a few miles away from us, it will be an absolute luxury to have a BRAND NEW CARAVAN, HOW EXCITING!!!!!

Our old Swift was 16 years old too! It was like another world in the new van. Once you got the hang of how everything works. OH kept putting the heating on electric, and too high, which kept blowing the site fuse though. Had a few teething problems with the water pump, OH had to adjust it with a stumpy screwdriver. And Avondale had put it in a very awkward place under the seat, he was grumbling that they could at least have left a couple more inches of room to adjust it.

Good job I went for a rear bedroom for the kids - with the rain I ended up with the camp kids in my van again. Cost me a fortune in crisps and munchies! At least I didn't see much of them though.
