hi all

Got a good deal on a 2004 Adria Altea. Great van with tons of space. any one out there have one and would like to shed some light on any plusses or minuses. will be used all year as going out in the snow just makes it more fun.

we got a altea 502 dk. got the bunks at the back a side dinette and huge double at the front.

forgot to ask. how long you had yours and is it any good. nothing like asking once the horse has bolted so to speak.

we got ours new last year 2005 from ropers in washington only problem up to now was handbrake pin snapped just before we went away ropers fixed it while i waited

dont know if yours is the same but in ours there is a power point in front of the sink unit just above the drawer when you have the kettle or something else plugged in and you try to open the drawer the drawer catches the cable

i have moved mine to the side of the sink unit

lightwieght easy to tow as i say no problems

we are taking ours out of storage next weekend and putting it on a seasonal pitch as we only got away twice this year as we are finding touring getting to hard for us

sure you will enjoy your new van

thanks brian. good to know. the van seems solid enough and the towing won't be a problem anyway.

the plug socket you are on about we have solved with an extension aswell. (well in heads anyway)

we pick it up on sat morn also from ropers. how are they for service etc?

had its first service may this year £130 everything was ok

we got plenty of room if you wanna come along.quite a trek from your neck of the woods though!!!

we were vanless for a few months and got pig sick with not going away. my sympathies are with you.
