Hi Alan, When we started caravanning in the early 80's we looked at a range of van's made by a company called Trophy caravan's based around Preston i think, these were extremely light (aluminium chassis's etc;) i think the basic model was called the Agilic, or something like that! I seem to remember that they were very utilitarian inside but looked well made. Sadly they have gone out of business, but you still see some of them knocking about.Looking at your post it seem's that this would be the ideal van for you?.
