Hi can anyone tell me anything abouth these caravans?
I have seen one on ebay which needs a rubber seal around a window wanting repaired. Is it easy to do? I am not a DIY person so any help will be gratefully received.
Thanks

Hi 2plus1
Yes i think it is easy to do yourself, I have seen it being done a few times and it does look easy enough. Most caravan accessary shops sell these, and I'm sure they will advise you if your in any doubt. One thing to consider if the rubber seal is damaged has water got in and made things damp? may I suggest if it's not to far away then maybe go view it and see for yourself, that way you could check out rubber seal and see if you think you could do the job.

The front corner has been weeping and therefore caused some damp in the front corners above the windows.
The item number is: 220061912636
I would do it as a hyperlink but I don't know how to.

Body is Glass fibre, but internal woodwork may be affected. Roof and side panels have seams and may be worth checking, I`m sure there is a owners club website, may be worth a look.

Have seen this 1 on ebay. Although it may be hard work I have offered £30 for the caravan ( Item no: 12006694936 ) have seen one sold on ebay at £2,250 which was a bit of a shock.
With regards to the Haynes Caravan Manual does anyone own 1? Is it worth buying?

I see it on ebay, best with these old caravans to inspect (take a damp meter) before bidding if possible or you would be taking a chance on condition

The number you put up is for an abbey warwick caravan, the guy looks he is being truthful in description saying that it nedds work and to view first.
