Hi all i have a prob, my landrover has blownup and i need to pick up my pride and joy from the repair shop in dorkin on saturday i have tried hire companys but thay say cars have no tow bars ??? so could there be a company out there that will pick it up and return to the storage yard? i will still look but if any one could help and hears of such company pls get back to me .... Why not ask the workshop operator how much he'll want to deliver it out to you. Alternative is to go to your local landrover dealer & ask him how much it'll cost you to hire a landrover or to have him collect the van for you. Another alternative would be to ask at the nearest pant hire depot, they'll have something there with a towbar & would probably pull the van back for you for a price. Make sure it's on their insurance if I were you. It'll probably cost you a bit more but I'd prefer them to be towing on their insurance rather than mine.
God im not happy, we went up to pick up the caravan and what a mess it was in ,im in shock it was a mess white spray all over the van on and inside the windows really thick around the window rubbers, you can see where thay repaired the dents in the side, the spray looks darker the new door will not lock when you close it. the locker door on the side of the van is suppose to be new but loads of white mastic all over it,now the van is two shades of white. cost insurence company £3500 now iv got to have a day of work again to go up there........NOT HAPPY.
Sorry to hear about your van. Have you thought about speaking to your insurance company about it? just a thought but they might have something to say about it.
