In October, I went to the Lea valley camping site near London - £14 approx per night and 40 minutes later you are in London. Doesn't mater what the weather is like as for the first time since camping, we just used the van as a base! I didn't have to pay for Abbi (6years) so travel was £5 a day, and we had a really nice time, lots of pack ups, and tea back in the van. better than a seaside resort and better that countryside, feb will be the same, often wet, so at least there's lots to do! hope you find somewhere anyway!
