Just looked thro caravan club site for a booking over easter weekend.
I'm amazed that ALL sites in ALL of Yorkshire are booked up over the bank holidays. TBH I've just booked the week before with the kids being home and I don't work...but what about OH or if I did work? We would be stumped
Just managed to book the last pitch at Normanhurst for easter weekend, but I only managed that by phoning. The CC website indicated that the site was full, so I rang the booking line just in case.....voila!!
Might be worth using the phone with a couple you like the look of, just in case!

What if the Hokey Cokey really is what it's all about....?
We make a point of not going away bank holidays, we have a grown up daughter, so we are not tied to school holidays, we both like sites a bit quieter, so we let the families go during these times, at least I suppose if there are a lot like us, it will give people with children a fairer chance at getting a pitch at peak times! We'll go when the madding crowds thin out!!! Win Win all round!
