I must admit I would always offer help to other if I thought they needed it.  But I must be going to the wrong campsites - we are two woman and sometimes have struggled to put the awning up as we are only 5' tall too, but no one has ever come across and offered help.  You see plent of those people peeping out of the windows though having a good laugh.

Let me know where you lot are going this year and we will come there.  lol

being offered a brew when you arrive after a long drive is very welcome

Theres too much talk of erection - I m going for a cold shower, blimey im getting like Bob™57.

We are new to caravanning and have yet to venture out.  I am glad to hear that whilst erecting the awning, with dog and 2 kids running round, if OH and I start yelling at each other, somebody will either laugh at us, or help us!!  Just hope it is the latter!!
