As well is two words!
How does a sage know everything about everything? or does he? or does he just think he does?
Remember, if you buy something you bought it, not brought it.
Shame, used the on line shop on many occasions. We always visit the shop once a year when we visit north Norfolk. The online shop will be much missed. You could always find those little things no one else stocks or takes months to get from the manufacturer's
Like others we have used their shop at West Runton quite often, the last time was in November when we were staying at Cromer. In a way I can understand them pulling out of online if they have had difficulties with security. I like to think that everyone is as honest as I like to be but clearly there are those that view dishonesty as a way of making a living! It must be difficult for a small business. The plus side is that they still have there shop and I can recommend the coffee shop next door!
I know lots of you wont agree but I think that's great news , the less choice online the more foot traffic in our towns and high streets I hope this is the first of many to come

Not all of us have a caravan accessories outlet near to home, so either pay extortionate dealer prices or shop online. When you do make the effort to visit the " high street" they don't stock what you want, so end up empty handed and back online.
Unusual to see things happen this way round. More often than not it's the shops that close, but the online side carries on. Whatever, I wish the shop well and I will make sure I call in there next time I'm in Norfolk.

That is so right! We live in East Herts, so not exactly a remote, isolated part of the country, and I don't know of any independent caravan accessory outlets within many miles of here. In fact, I don't know where my nearest one is. There is none that I know of within at least a 40 mile radius.

I, for one cannot understand the logic of shutting down an online business that works in conjunction with a bricks and mortar shop.
The major overheads will still exist, but the turnover will decline.
Makes no sense to me.
The only thing I can think of is that perhaps they were getting targetted by hackers and fraudsters.

Yep, that and a number of other reasons
"2019 has been our busiest year ever - we have been sending over 1,000 parcels a week during the main season.
However, it has also been our most challenging year.
We have seen an increase in online fraud and both our website and server have been hacked this year.
After building the business from the ground up over the past 15 years, the owner, Chris Ashwell, has decided it is time for a break! The website operates 24 hours a day and, as a result of trying to offer a huge range of products at the best prices, there are never enough hours in the day. Chris is looking forward to a better work life balance in 2020!"

This is the exact response I was expecting, the internet and online shopping is still new compared with high street shopping so how did people manage before ?
Answer
We went to the high street the shop had plenty of stock because he had plenty of customers visiting.
The prices were fair because his turnover was high.
So what are the advantages of this ?
Answer
While the high street is busy other items may be purchased in other shops result is all shops busier and all become keener on price, the added bonus of this is job creation more people in work more tax paid, leaving less people unemployed on benefits, the more we pay in tax the lower tax increase we all get.
What do we get as individuals from high street shopping?
Answer
Face to face customer service, try before you buy, easy returns and choice in hand and the bonus is lower carbon footprint from courier services.
What do we need to do to achieve this ?
Answer
Put on a coat and shoes and get out there just as we all used to.
I do of coarse realise there is a need for the online services for those who are miles n miles from towns etc but there are many who order goods online when there is a perfectly good retailer with the product on their doorstep. I think online shopping should incur a tax to try and sway people back to the high street
