Every year, without fail, I approach this calendar with so much hope and excitement. From day one, I make it a ritual to click on every single window, eagerly anticipating that maybe, just maybe, this will finally be my year to win. It’s not just a fleeting thought—it’s a little spark of joy that carries me through December, building up the anticipation for what feels like a tiny piece of magic during the holidays.
But year after year, despite my dedication, my excitement turns into disappointment. I’ve never won anything, not a single prize, and it’s starting to feel like the odds are forever against me. It’s hard not to feel disheartened, especially when I see others celebrating their wins. I can’t help but wonder, “When will it finally be my turn?”
I continue to hold out hope each day, but the disappointment stings a little more each year. It’s not just about the prizes—it’s about feeling like all the effort and excitement have been worth it. Here I am again, clicking away and holding my breath, but alas, yet another year passes without a single win. It’s starting to feel like the holiday magic just isn’t meant for me.

I used to feel exactly like that KDowner, until I received a notification that I'd won the generator - nearly fell off my chair with the shock of it! Roll on next Christmas and the 2025 ukcampsite next advent calendar!

Felt the same for the many years of entering and not a sniff of a prize, even more galling to see prizes going to names I'd never seen before as not familiar contributors to the forums, 2023 came good though and I won a generator too, courtesy of Machine Mart.
Restored my faith in competitions, but if I've got to wait another 10 years, they'd better be giving clouds or angels wings as prizes if I'm likely to put them to any use!
