Unfortunately one of our warden host couples is going to have to leave us before Easter 27 so we therefore have this job share opportunity arising over the coming months. We are open all year and this is a full time post which requires our wardens/hosts to take responsibility for our park for at least 3 months over our quiet winter season and then to work alongside another warden couple over the summer. This primarily includes of course booking and siting visitors, maintenance of our centrally heated amenity block, grass cutting and park maintenance. It is important however to note, that whilst we have 100+ pitches we are not in an extremely busy tourist area and are rarely very busy in the winter and only fill up over bank holidays, we therefore provide an opportunity to experience the "wardening life style" and despite the fact that we (I hope) have high standards it is not a "high pressure" job and best suited to those looking for a change of lifestyle and /or some form of active semi -retirement. It follows therefore, that there are many days when the time commitment is low so you will have the opportunity to enjoy the local area.
The park is owned and managed by the Rees family but we all have other commitments, we live on site and are available to help out at any time if there is an emergency. We are open all year You are welcome to visit us if you would like to see the park etc. but if you enter "Erwlon Caravan & Camping" into Google you will find us listed on a number of sites and some include reviews of the park which will give you a good idea of what Erwlon is like. As you will see from these reviews we have had brilliant wardens over recent years and we hope to make new friends for 2026/27.
We would welcome a couple who are regular caravanners or motorhomers but have perhaps never been wardens and would like to try it out, with the support of our experienced team, to see if it suits them with the option of a longer contract. Unfortunately we are unable to provide accommodation but of course you will have a fully serviced pitch as part of our "package.
