Description
This is a Camping and Caravanning Club Certificated Site, which accept caravans or motorhomes and usually tents.
Pitches: 5
Situated on a working arable farm in a little known area of North-West Essex and close to the market town of Saffron Walden and historical town of Thaxted.
The site is gently sloping with an ancient woodland to the north with footpaths to the local village of Widdington and the pub approximately 15 minute walk.
Five pitches are available, and electric hookup is available.
Please note, there are no toilets or showers on site
Recycling bins.
There is a web of footpaths directly from the site, which is perfect for dog owners.
The sites varied wildlife is often seen including Deer, Foxes, Hawks and Owls, with unrestricted views from the East to South West.
Open views over rolling countryside to the South with footpaths to the village of Henham where there is a shop and pub approximately a 40 minute walk.
Village of Elsenham is 2 miles away with local shops and takeaway.
There is also a one bedroom holiday cottage on the farm
