Ever booked a ‘sea view` caravan or motorhome pitch, only to end up stuck in the back row with no sea in sight? Our caravan and motorhome sea view pitches deliver exactly what they promise: clear, uninterrupted views of the ocean, with nothing but the beach between you and the waves.
Prefer a bit more shelter? Opt for one of our three protected touring pitches or eight camping spots, all just a leisurely three-minute walk from the beach.
Thorntonloch Caravan Park offers a simple no fuss break with ten hardstanding and grass touring pitches. The park is right by the East Lothian beach, allowing visitors to enjoy the sand dunes, rock pools filled with wildlife, and fishing opportunities.
Tent campers are also welcome on six grass tent pitches, without electric.
Site facilities include two free toilet/shower blocks, free hot water and laundry facilities available. There are two basic games rooms and a book/CD/DVD/puzzle swap-shop.

Get on the beach, explore, build a sandcastle, surf, cycle, walk and most importantly relax at this beachside spot. You can fish nearby for bass, cod and mackerel and the is a bike path that will take you over to Dunbar for a fun day out.
The John Muir Way is a renowned long-distance trail celebrating the life and legacy of conservationist John Muir. It runs directly through our park, offering stunning coastal views and diverse walking routes.
