Mushroom Meadow at Trefewha Farm is a secluded campsite for those wishing to spend their time nestled in nature away from the bigger or busier sites.
You will find us perfectly central for visiting the attractions and beaches of West Cornwall. Within a 15 minute drive of both the north and south coasts.
Large, flat pitches are for up to 6 people comfortably including vehicles and tents. And they`re freshly mowed out of the wildflower meadow providing natural borders.
Our guests rave about our rustic-modern bespoke showers with good water-pressure.
It`s the ideal location for a peaceful stay: Tucked away down a long (750m) winding track, at the foot of a 50 acre farm next to a freshwater stream and adjacent to ancient woodland with tracks to walk amongst the trees and search for deer footprints.
Walk into our lovely local village in about 10 mins if you fancy a visit to the St Aubyn Arms selling food, Philps bakery for a pasty or Praze village shop selling local produce.
Our camping facilities include daily serviced composting toilets, spacious hot showers with hooks and shelves for your things, large communal fire pits with seating (in the meadow as well as the woods), mains water for drinking, large washing up sink in the woods and FREE firewood which you can collect with the wheelbarrow from our dedicated wood pile.
Kids love the stunning woodland adjacent to Mushroom Meadow with trails snaking all around perfect for playing and exploring. If you follow the fresh water stream, you will find the tranquil seating area and fire pit in the woods.
We recommend you bring a torch as there`s hardly any artificial light in the meadow as well as a charging pack for your devices.
If you`re looking for a truly wild camping experience amongst an abundance of nature whilst having access to good facilities and a central location then Mushroom Meadow is the place for you.

Once in Mushroom Meadow, you`ll see each pitch is numbered 1 to 8. Find your pitch, park up and familiarize yourself with the facilities!
