Set in five acres of wildflower meadow, Greenhillock is the perfect place to unwind and get off grid
If the point of camping is to immerse yourself in nature, this is the place for you. Come and have an adventure, build a forest fortress, go on a mini beast hunt and find out what's lurking in our wildlife pond.
Camp fires are positively encouraged!
Camping
Take your pick from thirty generous camping pitches each with its own firepit. Pitches for single tents nestle in the meadows of the South Paddocks.
Two group pitches for families (Lethnot / Lyon) each taking three large family tents, can be found in the home paddock. Lethnot and Lyon are interlinked so can be booked together by larger groups. Also located here are large pitches which accommodate super tents!
In the North Paddock, there are eight pitches for grown-ups only.
These can be booked individually or as a group and provide a chilled get-away for people without children in tow.
Glamping
If you fancy a luxury upgrade, book one of our two beautiful bell tents. Each carpeted 5m tent sits on its own wooden base and comes with a double bed and bedding and camp mattresses for the kids.
Outside there is a private decking area with a firebowl, outdoor furniture and gorgeous views of the meadows and surrounding hills.
The two glamping pods share our glampers' family shower room.
We strive to balance the simplicity of camping in unspoilt countryside with just the right facilities close at hand. The sense of nature comes not from feeling isolated in the wilds, but rather from being a part of the natural surroundings.
Facilities
At ‘The Hutties we have four composting loos and two solar powered showers plus there is a family shower room in the North Paddock for glampers.
As an eco-site we use composting loos to reduce our water consumption. They are very simple to use, not at all smelly and full instructions are provided.
Our innovative showers are solar powered. The system is incredibly efficient so hot showers are the norm. On cloudy days or at busy times the hot water can run out so be warned, cold showers are a possibility!

With us as a base, conquer the peaks of the Caringorms, explore the beautiful beaches of the East-Coast and sample the delights of Dundee (recently voted GQs Coolest Small City in Britain).
