Low Hedgeley Farm is located in North Northumberland just off the main A697 road to Coldstream and the Scottish Borders. It faces South overlooking the Breamish Valley approximately one mile north of the Village of Powburn which offers a range of local services.
The caravan site is located to the rear of the farm steading with good access.
There are hard standing and grass pitches all serviced by mains water and electric hookups.
The site is well maintained with a pleasant outlook to listed stone farm buildings and open pastures.
We can accommodate caravans and motorcaravans. Tents are not accepted in the caravan area.
There is a WC discreetly sited in one corner of the site close to a fenced area for recycling and waste disposal all of which is screened by beech hedging.
Our camping site is equipped with portaloos, fresh water taps, recycling, and waste bins, along with WIFI access (available in the carpark) and charging points for your devices, adding comfort to your camping experience.
The farmhouse is a grade II listed stone dwelling which is backed by attractive listed stone buildings all of which date from the mid 18th century.
Low Hedgeley is situated at the foot of the Cheviot Hills in an area of great natural beauty. Views to the west take in the Northumberland National Park, Hedgehope Hill and The Cheviot.
The farm is six miles south of the market town of Wooler and approximately 11 miles from Alnwick, so is an ideal base for visits to many of the attractions of Northumberland and the Scottish Borders.
Nearby Attractions
Alnwick Castle and Garden are close by as are Lindisfarne, Bamburgh, Dunstanburgh and Warkworth Castles which line the heritage coast of Northumberland. Chillingham Castle and its herd of wild cattle are a ten minutes drive and the National Trust properties Cragside, Rothbury and Wallington House are within easy travelling distance.
The Cheviot Hills form one of the most stunning landscapes in the British Isles providing miles of great walks and superb bird watching. The Breamish and Harthope Valleys are delightful settings which provide examples of the unique character of The Cheviot.

Turn right off A697 (Morpeth - Coldstream) 0.5 miles North of Powburn sign posted Low Hedgeley. In 0.25 miles keep left on to farm road. Site on left in 90 yards.
