Camping Hana is a quiet, modern, family-run campsite situated in a peaceful setting beside the River Svratka, around 1 km east of the village of Veverska Bitýška. The site lies on a triangle of land between the river and the line of willows marking the old millrace.
The campsite welcomes both tents and caravans and offers around 55 electric hook-ups, supplying 10 amps at 230V. Facilities include warm showers, toilets with wheelchair access, a campers` kitchen with electric cooking rings, a fridge, washing machine and tumble dryer.
Camping Hana is particularly suited to visitors looking for a peaceful stay, with no cabins, disco or bar on site. Barbecues are permitted in a designated area close to the sanitary block to avoid disturbing other guests.
The village of Veverska Bitýška is approximately 1 km away and can be reached by road or by a pleasant walk alongside the river. Here you will find a post office, ATM, doctor, pharmacy, food shops and several restaurants and cafes offering meals at reasonable prices.
Some pitches are close enough to the river to hear the water flowing over the modern weir of the old mill, adding to the peaceful atmosphere of the campsite.
Nearby Attractions
Camping Hana is well placed for exploring Brno and the surrounding region. Lake Brno is nearby, an artificial lake created by a dam which is popular for water sports and leisure activities.
Places of interest within reach include the Moravian Karst and its caves, the historic Battle of Austerlitz site, and several impressive castles including Veveri Castle, Pernštejn Castle and Špilberk Castle.
Visitors can also explore the White Creek Valley, the Cross Road and Miracles Spring, the historic Porta Coeli Cistercian convent, and the Capuchin Crypt in Brno.
Moravský Krumlov is also within driving distance and is known for its association with Czech Art Nouveau artist Alfons Mucha.
Maps, postcards, stamps and public transport tickets are available from the campsite reception, where further information about local attractions can also be obtained.

Price Guide - Updated September 2026
Prices from 100 CZK for a tent, 130 CZK for a small caravan, 250 CZK for a motorhome, plus 130 CZK per adult, 70 CZK per child aged 3-12, 130 CZK for electric hook-up. Tourist tax is 25 CZK per person.
