Welcome to Lansdown Campsite. We offer a serene and picturesque campsite, providing a perfect escape for nature lovers and campers—an ideal location to stay during your visit to Bath.
Situated opposite Lansdown Park and Ride, walking distance from Lansdown Racecourse, Beckfords Tower,Hare and Hounds Pub and The Charlcombe Inn Pub.
Our facilities are designed to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable stay for all our guests.

Lansdown Campsite offers five different camping accommodations tailored to your adventure style!
Whether you prefer staying in your caravan or tent, or arriving hassle-free to stay in our cosy safari/bell tents or camping pods, we`ve got the perfect spot for you.
Hardstanding pitches
Planning a cozy camping trip in your own caravan or motorhome? We`ve got you covered! Lansdown Campsite offers five hard-standing pitches, each with an adjacent artificial grass area—perfect for parking your caravan and enjoying a relaxing getaway.
Field Pitches
Bring your own tent and camp on our spacious grass pitches! Our large, flat field can accommodate up to 50 tents and is also open to caravan campers, giving you plenty of room to set up and enjoy the great outdoors.
Glamping Options
Enjoy a cozy glamping experience in a fully equipped inflatable 2-person tent! Camping with a group? This spacious 6m bell tent is fully equipped for up to four people. Experience comfort in a fully furnished 2-person pod with a king-size bed and a private hot tub. Inside, you`ll find a cozy lounge with a breakfast bar, two stools, and a bench.
Facilities
All our camp accommodations include free facilities such as toilets, showers, a washing-up area, drinking water, and more.
We are an off-grid campsite and run on solar electricity, so we do not have any EHU.
Campfires
Campfire is a part of the camping experience and should be enjoyed by all in a safe manner. We have a communal fire pit that you can use, for free, and a personal fire pit with a patio slab when you purchase a bag of logs from us.
Pets are welcome!

You can go to Lansdown Park & Ride opposite the campsite, get on the bus Service No. 31, and take a 15-minute ride into Bath. A detailed bus timetable can be found in our washing-up area.

Peak rate May - September + Christmas market. £30 for 2 person touring pitch Grass or hard standing. £20 for 1 person tent pitch Off peak Jan - April / October- Dec (not including Christmas market) £20-£25 up to 2 person touring pitch Grass or hard standing £14 for 1 person tent pitch. No ehu. We are an off grid campsite.

The campsite is conveniently accessible via Lansdown Road, just off the A420 through Freezing Hill Lane or Bath Road.
If you`re travelling from the M4, we`re just 15 minutes from Junction 18.
Or via Bus from Lansdown Park and Ride, or you can hike from the Cotswold Walk trail.
