Description
This is a Caravan and Motorhome Club Certificated Location, which accepts just five caravans or motorhomes and is for Club Members only.
Pitches: 5
Lovely flat mown grass site on attractive hop and livestock farm in the heart of The Garden of England. 15 minutes to the Channel Ferries to France and 40 minutes to the Channel Tunnel
Rural 5 van location (formerly known as Parsonage Farm Site) only 10 minutes drive to Canterbury Cathedral, 5 minutes to Howletts Wild Animal Park
Cobbs Meadow has flat mown grass and is secluded, well drained, quiet and peaceful: a site where you can sit and enjoy watching the wildlife
We have electric hook-ups, drinking water, and an emptying point and we suggest that advance bookings are made to avoid disappointment.
The hook-ups are round the edge of the field. The WC chemical disposal point is the far side of the field opposite the gate with a tap for rinsing out.
There are two drinking water taps, one located on the left as you come in the gate and one directly opposite at the far side of the field.
Dog walk from site
Many gourmet pubs within easy access.
Only 20 minutes from safe sea bathing and sandy beaches.
A very central location for accessing the whole of the south east and within walking distance of the village station which is on the mainline to London.
Nearby Attractions
Countryside walking to the Historic City of Canterbury. Wonderful country walks off road: within yards of the North Downs Way.
Neighbours to "Howletts Zoo Animal Park" - wake up to the sounds of the Gorillas` playing.
Convenient 15 mins. from Cross Channel Ferries to France, 30 mins from Channel Tunnel.
Sands and beaches all around S.E. are within 25 mins drive.
Mainline station to London, Victoria 1hr 30 mins. Surrounded by Pubs serving excellent local produce at local prices.
Don`t be put out by the train line running along the side of the site. The trains are in a very deep cutting and you are very unlikely to even hear them and you certainly can`t see them.
