Standing in the heart of Norfolk`s undulating fields, Bircham Windmill now looks as it did over 100 years ago. Bircham Windmill offers family friendly camping and glamping with everything you need on your doorstep from the bakery and tearooms to the windmill itself. Choose from grass pitches for your holiday or go glam in one of the two shepherd`s huts.
Onsite facilities include shower and toilets, tearooms, bakery, children`s play area, animal petting corner. Windmill museum, gift shop and gallery.
We have 15 grass pitches for caravans, motor homes or tents with optional electric hook-up.
24 hour access to toilets, wash basin and external tap. There are 3 showers on the site for guests to use at no extra charge
The games room is available for people staying in the campsite. It has pool table, TV, washing-up area, kettle and microwave
There are also two shepherds huts to rent - both huts are hand built and beautifully appointed with toaster, kettle, fridge, pull out double bed and outdoor cooking area.
They are well insulated so warm at night when its cold and cool when its hot outside. The shower is brand new and built inside a shepherds hut.
Guests have free entrance to the Windmill gardens where the play area, sandpit and animals are and also get discounted rates to climb the windmill.
Visitors can climb the five floors up to the fan stage and, when possible, on windy days, visitors can also see the sails and the milling machinery turning.
The Tea Rooms serves a selection of home made cakes, scones and light lunches, a full range of English and Italian coffees and teas and of course our famous Clotted Cream Teas.
We have a unique gift shop within the tearooms selling a selection of bespoke souvenirs as well as gifts for all ages, craft kits and ideas, baking items and wind and windmill gifts.
We also sell the flour that we use for our baking, other speciality flours and our sheep cheeses.
The bakery adjoining the mill still has its original, coal-fired oven for you to see. We still bake in the original bakery and sell a wide range of bread and cakes.
Visitors can Take part in a baking lesson and learn all about bread and cakes at the onsite bakery

The closest pub is The Railway Inn, a ten minute drive away in Docking where you`ll also find a Spar for food and supplies.
Bircham Windmill is a great base to explore Norfolk.
Beaches are only 5 miles from here, we border the Sandringham Estate - Sandringham House just 4 miles from here.
There is Houghton Hall, Norfolk Lavendar, Snettisham park, Holkham and many more all within easy reach.
Great Cycling/Walking/Bird Watching area too and just 1 mile from the Peddars Way.

Prices are £36 per pitch for up to 2 adults, £6 per night for electric hook up, £2 per night for dogs - up to 2 per pitch, £18 per night for additional adults and £5 per night for additional children aged 4-15years old.

Take the A149 out of King`s Lynn, turn off onto the B1153 at Hillington and once in Great Bircham, turn left onto the Snettisham Road and you will see the windmill on your right.
